I am a fan of cruises but I can only stay on a cruise ship for about four days before I start feeling claustrophobic. When I came across the Silver Whisper World Cruise I was shocked to find out that this cruise lasts for an astonishing 115 days!
The Silver Whisper is a luxury cruise by the company Silversea and they have taken the word "luxury" to a whole new level. Silversea will pick you up by helicopter from your home. They will then take you to the nearest airport where a private jet will fly you to Los Angeles where you will stay at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel for four days.
Once you board the ship, you will be staying in the Royal Suite Cabin which has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining area and two verandas. The ship will sail to 28 countries including New Zealand, Malaysia and Mauritius. At the conclusion of the trip, the ship will dock in Florida and you will be whisked away to a private $10,000 a night apartment in Miami for four nights. On the fourth day, the ship will arrange to have you flown back to your place of residence...by private jet of course.
The cost for this World Cruise is $1.5 million dollars per person and the trip starts on January 4th, 2013.
